Flakers COLLECTION

Eschenfelder Beech Hopper Table Flaker

Manual Cereal Flaker

The beech-hopper Eschenfelder gives the table flaker a consistent wooden appearance. Its removable hopper feeds two nickel-free stainless steel rollers, while a stepless adjustment controls flake thickness. The open frame provides access around the mechanism, and a supplied clamp secures the model for hand operation.

A wooden alternative to the metal hopper

Compare this version with the aluminium-hopper model when the kitchen finish matters as much as the basic flaking task. Confirm table-edge compatibility and bowl clearance first. If the worktop cannot accommodate a clamp, review the wall-mounted flakers and their installation requirements.

Leave room to lift the wooden hopper

The listed dimensions with crank are 24 × 12 × 24 cm in height, width and depth. Leave additional room above the removable hopper and around the hand crank. The collecting bowl must be easy to position and remove beneath the mechanism.

Current table-model guidance allows 50 mm thickness and requires 40 mm overhang, but some reference clamps are limited to 45 mm. Confirm the supplied clamp. Stop the crank before cleaning and use the instructions for access without unnecessary roller disassembly.

Frequently asked questions

Can the beech hopper be removed for access?

The wooden hopper is removable. Keep the roller assembly intact and follow the cleaning instructions; hopper removal is not permission to dismantle the mechanism.

Does the general 50 mm guidance guarantee this clamp fits?

No. Some reference clamps are listed for 45 mm only. Confirm the actual supplied clamp and measure the required 40 mm free overhang.

Do the listed dimensions include the user's moving hand?

They describe the appliance with its crank. Leave extra space for comfortable operation, loading and removing the bowl.
