Choose the right working environment

For smoothies, dressings and household baking preparation, start with home blenders. Classic and Designer models offer different controls; Professional 800 adds an enclosure but remains a household appliance. For a serving station or production kitchen, explore commercial blenders and match the actual duty and installation to the supplied manual.

Compare controls before motor headlines

Classic 575 has five manual speed steps and four cycles. Designer models use touch sliders with different numbers of steps and programmes. Bar and Chef use direct variable-speed control, while 825 and Stealth models provide programmed commercial workflows. Electrical input watts and peak horsepower are different measures; neither alone predicts results for a particular recipe.

The package determines what you can prepare

A FourSide, WildSide+, Ultra or NBS package is more than a colour choice. Total jar volume includes headroom and is not the recommended finished-blend level. Follow the markings and recipe limits on the supplied jar. Base-only commercial options exclude jars. The Chef Blender lists a specific jar, lid and tamper; that does not permit the tamper to be used in another jar.

Allow for the lid, enclosure and installation

Measure access for filling and removing the jar, not just the closed appliance. Professional 800 needs room to open its cover. In-counter commercial options need their exact drawing, ventilation and electrical requirements before a worktop is cut. A sound enclosure is a design feature, not a guaranteed decibel reduction.

Read the model limitations

A soup programme does not permit boiling ingredients in every jar. Use the correct manual for temperature limits, cleaning and commercial sanitation. Regional electrical ratings, supplied plugs and warranty eligibility need confirmation. Existing reference prices are informational. Where sources disagree, the product page explains the uncertainty rather than choosing a convenient figure.

Frequently asked questions

Is Professional 800 a commercial blender?

No. It is a household model despite its name. Compare documented commercial equipment for business use.

Why is there no single capacity filter?

Several commercial models have base-only, two-jar and NBS options. A single litre value would hide those differences. Filter by jar package and check the actual fill markings instead.

Does the lowest reference price include a jar?

Not always. Base-only options exclude jars; select the exact configuration before comparing reference amounts.
