BEHIND THE NAME

A milling idea, refined over time.

Mockmill grew from Wolfgang Mock’s work on household grain milling. The company’s history records a mixer milling attachment in 2015, followed by the Mockmill 100 and 200 in 2017. Its current team page identifies Martina Mock as leading the business since January 2022. That background explains the range’s focus: making grain preparation part of an everyday kitchen.

START WITH THE RESULT

Flour or flakes?
They are different jobs.

01

Stone milling for flour

Grain passes between corundum-ceramic stones. Adjusting their working gap changes the texture from fine flour towards coarser meal. Grain type, dryness and your chosen setting affect the result and the rate.

Use the side lever on Mockmill 100/200, turn the hopper on Lino/Professional, or use the milling attachment’s adjustment dial.

02

Flaking for breakfast

Mockmill Flakes presses grain into flakes for porridge, muesli and recipes. It uses a compatible stand mixer as its drive and has its own preparation and operating instructions.

A flaking attachment does not replace a stone flour mill. Ingredient permissions for one mechanism do not automatically apply to the other.

FOUR WAYS INTO THE RANGE

Different formats.
A choice that makes sense.

01

100 & 200

A straightforward place to start

The composite-bodied mills use a side lever to move from fine flour towards coarser meal. Choose between the two reference output classes around the amount you usually mill, not a promise that every grain will run at the same speed.

Mockmill 100 Mockmill 200
02

Lino

The wooden kitchen format

Lino combines wood and Arboblend® with hopper-turn adjustment and a 1,300 g wheat hopper. Lino 100 and Lino 200 offer different output classes in the same listed body dimensions.

Mockmill Lino 100 Mockmill Lino 200
03

Professional

For frequent, longer sessions

The Professional 200 manual supports extended milling. Its operating pattern is the important distinction from the household Lino models; it is not simply a different wooden finish or a guarantee of faster flour.

Mockmill Pro 200
04

Mixer attachments

Two jobs. A compatible mixer.

The milling attachment makes flour; Mockmill Flakes makes cereal flakes. Both use the host mixer’s drive. Check the exact mixer model, attachment hub and both manuals before choosing. The mixer is not included.

YOUR KITCHEN, YOUR ROUTINE

What would you like to make?

Start with how you bake and the equipment you already own. No single model is the right choice for every kitchen.

01

My first home flour mill

Start with Mockmill 100 for a composite-bodied, side-lever format. Compare Lino 100 if a wooden housing and hopper-turn adjustment matter to your kitchen.

02

I prepare larger flour batches

Compare Mockmill 200 and Lino 200. Their soft-wheat reference output is about 200 g/min; your grain, fineness and working pattern still affect the actual pace.

03

I want a wooden mill

Choose between Lino 100 and Lino 200 by batch needs. Both list wood and Arboblend® housings and the same body dimensions; allow extra space for filling and collection.

04

Milling is frequent, with longer sessions

Put Professional 200 on the shortlist for its extended operating capability. Confirm the supplied version and your intended use rather than assuming all 200-class mills share that duty pattern.

05

I already own a stand mixer

The milling attachment can add flour preparation without a separate mill motor. Send us the mixer’s exact model and attachment-hub details to check compatibility.

06

I want fresh breakfast flakes

Choose Mockmill Flakes for cereal flakes rather than flour. Follow its grain-preparation table and the mixer’s operating limits; a milling attachment performs a different job.

THE USEFUL DIFFERENCES

Compare like with like.

Standalone mills are compared separately from mixer attachments. Output is a reference for the named grain and conditions, not a guaranteed rate for every ingredient.

† Check the supplied electrical revision. The existing catalogue and shared manuals list 600 W for Mockmill 200 and Lino 200; current manufacturer product pages list 680 W. Confirm the unit’s rating plate and matching manual before selection. Professional 200’s 600 W value is taken from its manual.

A FEW PRACTICAL CHECKS

A good fit goes beyond the model name.

Grain & ingredients

Start with clean, dry grain approved in the exact model’s milling table. Do not treat a stone mill as a wet grinder or assume nuts and oily seeds can be processed on their own. Follow any permitted-mixture instructions rather than guessing.

Care & cleaning

Disconnect power before cleaning. Keep the stone chamber dry and follow the manual’s coarse-grain, opening and brushing procedures. Flakes has a separate roller-cleaning method; do not immerse the appliance or mixer.

Space & collection

Body dimensions do not describe the whole working area. Leave room above the hopper, space to use the controls and an appropriate flour container below the outlet. Check the installation instructions before making a close-fitting storage space.

Electrical version & mixer

The listed standalone mills use a 220–230 V European reference version. Confirm rating, frequency and plug for the destination. For attachments, check the mixer model, hub, fastening screw and both operating manuals. The host mixer is separate.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Useful answers.
No one-size-fits-all claims.

What is the practical difference between Mockmill 100 and 200?

Their stated fine-flour output classes are about 100 and 200 g/min with soft wheat. Both use composite housings and side-lever texture adjustment. The 200 is worth comparing for larger batches; it does not make the reference rate universal across grains or settings. Check the power-rating note for the supplied revision.

Does a wooden Lino produce a different kind of flour?

A wooden housing is a format and material choice, not a separate flour category. Lino uses hopper-turn adjustment and a larger listed wheat hopper than the standard 100/200 format. Compare output, working space and controls alongside the appearance.

When should I consider Professional 200?

Consider it when milling is frequent and you need the extended operating capability described in its manual. Its approximate 200 g/min wheat output is in the same reference class as the other 200 models. Confirm the supplied version, working conditions and applicable warranty for your intended use.

Can one attachment make both flour and flakes?

These are different attachments. The Mockmill milling attachment uses stones to make flour or meal; Mockmill Flakes crushes grain into flakes. Choose by the result you want, and check the exact mixer compatibility for that attachment.

Will an attachment fit my stand mixer?

A mixer brand name alone is not enough to confirm the fit. The manufacturer manuals name KitchenAid, Electrolux and Kenmore families, but the exact model, hub and mounting procedure still need checking. The KitchenAid Mini has a specific fastening-screw instruction. Send the mixer model before ordering; neither attachment includes a mixer.

Can I mill nuts, oily seeds or damp grain?

Do not use a stone mill as a wet grinder or assume that oily seeds may be milled on their own. Moisture and oil can coat the stones. Use clean, dry ingredients named in the exact milling table, and follow any model-specific instructions for permitted mixtures. Flakes has its own preparation table; its permissions cannot be transferred to a stone mill.

How do I clean the mill?

Disconnect the appliance or host mixer first. Keep the stone chamber dry, and follow the supplied manual for coarse-grain cleaning, access and brushing. Do not wash the milling mechanism or immerse electrical equipment. The Flakes rollers have their own disassembly and brushing procedure.

Are these confirmed prices, stock levels or delivery dates?

The catalogue shows the site’s existing reference prices, excluding VAT. Availability, the final price, electrical version and delivery charges are confirmed before your order is finalised. Sending an enquiry does not reserve stock or confirm payment.
