Choose suitable bags and a safe storage method

Compare the sealing method, controls and cleaning access. Moist foods may need cooling or pre-freezing to prevent liquid entering an external sealer. Chamber machines work differently; this category currently contains an external bag sealer.

Plan refrigeration, freezing and date labels separately. Use only suitable bags or containers, and never infer that vacuum packing replaces established food-safety guidance.
