Angel Juicer: cucumber, apple and celery without rushing the feed

A short ingredient list makes it easier to learn a juicer’s rhythm. Cucumber brings liquid, apple adds sweetness and celery contributes a distinct savoury note. The aim is a drink you enjoy and a manageable preparation routine, not a detox programme or a guaranteed extraction figure.

Prepare before switching on

Start with sound produce, clean hands, a clean chopping board and a correctly assembled juicer. Wash produce under running water before cutting it, including anything you intend to peel. Do not use soap or household detergent on fruit and vegetables. Discard rotten produce and remove damaged areas.

Remove apple core and seeds and trim ingredients as required by the supplied Angel manual. Cut pieces to fit the actual feeding chute. Shortening long celery fibres makes preparation more manageable. Have the juice and pulp containers ready so you are not rearranging the worktop while feeding.

A flexible starting blend

For a small batch, start with one cucumber, two apples and one or two celery stalks. Exact yield depends on size, ripeness, produce and operating technique, so this is an ingredient ratio rather than a promised number of millilitres. A small amount of peeled lemon can add brightness if the instructions permit its preparation.

Taste the juice before changing several ingredients. If celery dominates, reduce it next time. If the drink is sweeter than you want, use less apple. Keep one brief note about the ratio so you can reproduce the version you liked.

Feed steadily, not forcefully

Follow your model’s assembly, operation and pusher instructions. Introduce modest portions and allow the gears time to process them. Alternating ingredients can make a mixed batch easier to feed, but it does not justify forcing material into a crowded chute.

If the appliance stalls or signals overload, stop feeding and follow the exact model’s recovery procedure. Do not assume that every Angel version has the same reverse control. Disconnect before disassembly and keep hands and tools away from moving parts.

Serve promptly and clean promptly

Prepare a small amount to serve promptly. If you are not serving immediately, refrigerate the juice promptly in a clean covered container; do not rely on a universal multi-day storage claim. Clean the screen and other washable parts according to the manual before residue dries into them. Keep the motor base out of water.

Home-pressed juice is normally unpasteurised. Washing and refrigeration do not turn it into a pasteurised product. People at higher risk from foodborne illness, including young children, pregnant people, older adults and those with weakened immune systems, should choose appropriately treated juice.

Use the result as a recipe, not a health promise

A juicer separates juice from pulp; the output is not nutritionally identical to eating the whole ingredients. Enjoy the drink as one option alongside ordinary meals. No “cleanse”, treatment or guaranteed nutrient-retention claim is needed to make this recipe useful.

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 apples
  • 1–2 celery stalks
  • A small piece of peeled lemon, optional and prepared as permitted by the manual

Method

  1. Wash and prepare the produce; remove apple core and seeds.
  2. Assemble the supplied juicing parts correctly and position both containers.
  3. Feed small portions steadily, following the pusher and operating instructions.
  4. Taste, serve promptly and refrigerate promptly if not serving immediately.
  5. Switch off, disconnect and clean the parts as directed in the supplied manual.

Questions & answers

How much juice will this make?

There is no fixed yield: the produce size, variety, freshness and operating technique all matter.

Does cold pressing make the juice pasteurised?

No. Mechanical extraction is not pasteurisation; refrigeration does not remove that distinction.
